Additional Notes: This 235DHT-LMSE smart sensor will output Depth-Only through NMEA0183 to any device from any brand capable of receiving NMEA0183 information. The sensor has been fully tested. Unfortunately, the temperature function is not functional, but depth is fully functional (these functions are independent of one another within the transducer so the failure of one does not correlate to an imminent failure of the other). Airmar temp sensors are analog resistors and unfortunately, tend to be the first thing to fail on any transducer. If water temperature is unimportant to your use, this would be a very economical way to have depth on your NMEA0183 device.

The unit was originally for Furuno units, which is why there is an extra cable and 6-pin connector (this cable is used as an optional analog speed input if you have a separate speed transducer but is not used in all installations). The other wire with 7 pin end has 30′ of wire attached.

We are including a fairing block, bronze housing, and blanking plug. The transducer operates at 235khz and will not interfere with 50 or 200 khz devices.
