Overall, this unit is in good working condition and was fully tested on our bench.

This is a CMAP unit intended to work with CMAP wide format cards. WILL NOT WORK FOR Navionics CARTOGRAPHY.

We have updated the software for optimal performance.

Requires external equipment for various functions (chart card for maps, GPS antenna for Navigation, sounder module/transducer for the bottom, etc).

Please Note: that this model does NOT have a RADAR function.

This is the perfect drop-in economical solution for anyone looking to add another full-function display to an existing Navnet system or for someone looking to replace an existing GD-1700c/GD-1710c/RDP-131/RDP-143. If you are going to add a display to your current system, ask us about networking cables if needed.

This is the GD-1710c model. It uses a brighter and better quality screen than the GD-1700c

Again, this is just the head unit – no charts, sun cover, cables, mounts, antennas, or transducers included.

This includes:

GD-1710c – 7″ display only (CMAP) – ***MME REFURB*** Good condition, we installed a professionally rebuilt LCD. The rear chassis has oxidation from normal use.

Max Marine Electronics has sold hundreds of Navnet displays and systems. Our experience has given us the ability to evaluate and rebuild displays in such a way as to prevent the common (and rare) failures these units experience. The most common failures of the 7″ Navnet series are LCD failure or deterioration and separation of the front glass.

An MME refurbished unit will have a rebuilt LCD screen with new films that should outlast the unit. The clear front lens that covers the LCD, which may be acrylic or glass, is bonded to the bezel with adhesive tape or adhesive sealant. If this bond fails, any water that hits the front of the unit will run down the glass into the unit and the unit will fail in short order. We inspect this bond and if we don’t feel the bond is fit for re-installation, we will either re-bond the lens.

In addition to these things, on all Navnets regardless of whether they’re rebuilt or not, we inspect bezels for warping, inspect and re-grease case seals, and perform other basic procedures to ensure customer satisfaction and longevity of our units in the field.

An MME refurbished 7″ Navnet display will always come with a completely rebuilt LCD screen and the glass or acrylic lens will adhere to the bezel.
