Additional Notes: We have noticed that many people with IC-802 SSB radios suffer from deteriorating handset cables, rendering their units unusable. Unfortunately, Icom no longer produces these handsets. To remedy this we have begun to manufacture replacement handsets with PCBs and cables that we produce in-house.

We use the chassis from old HM-114 handsets, but internally these are HM-135 units and have all been successfully tested with an IC-802 SSB transceiver.
