Additional Notes: This 18″ standard definition satellite TV tracking antenna was fully tested here at MME. This system is the predecessor to KVH’s TV5 model but performs largely all the same functions and is still a good option if you want to view standard-definition programming on your vessel. The 18″ dish offers a good balance of signal strength and ease of installation.

This antenna has been set to track DirecTV’s 101 W North American satellite and it receives a strong signal. The gyros have been calibrated and the firmware updated to the latest version.

This antenna is enclosed in a dome that shows some fading and discoloration but is structurally in great shape.
