Northstar NS100US HS Command Mic Replacement Cable For Marine VHF Radio NS100DS

Max Marine Electronics is proud to offer a replacement Hand Mic cable for the Northstar NS100US VHF Radio.  We have gotten many requests over the years for a replacement cable and finally came up with a viable solution.   We have tested each one of these cables to make sure that they are functional.

To be clear, this will only fix handsets that have issues due to a failed mic cable.  This will not improve the clarity of the LCD or any other unrelated issue.

We have included step-by-step instructions with each one of these.  This repair is not the simplest repair, but anyone with minimal mechanical inclination should be able to tackle it.

We have designed this replacement cable to provide a way for those with the NS100 VHF to continue using their radios. The main differences between our mic cord and the original are:

1. Cable entry strain relief to the microphone – We custom designed and 3D printed this part for exact fitment – please bear in mind that because they are 3D printed, they are not perfect cosmetically, but are 100% functional.
2. Connection to radio – Our connector is a “straight” connector, whereas the original was a right-angle connector
