We are selling a new compatible replacement microphone cable assembly for the Link-8, RS35, and V50 VHF Radios. This replaces the original internal mic cable, which is very prone to failure.  The manufacturer does not offer a replacement cable solution, so we made one.

This cable is used on the Lowrance Link-8 & LVR-250, Simrad RS35, and B&G V50 VHF radio.  This cable will not work with any other model of VHF Microphone.  If you are looking for the Raymarine Ray240, Ray260, Ray215, or Northstar NS100 Mic cables, we have those available as well under separate listings.

We have designed this replacement to provide a way for those with the Link-8, RS35, or V50 to continue using their radios. The main differences between our mic cord and the original are:

1. Cable entry strain relief to the microphone – We custom designed and 3D printed this part for exact fitment
2. Connection to radio – We custom designed and 3D printed this part for exact fitment
3. Retaining Key- We custom designed and 3D printed the Locking “U” for the front panel Mic attachment for exact fitment

We have designed the assembly to be user-replaceable using included instructions that will accompany each replacement cable assembly. Each cable is individually tested to ensure proper function. This part will not fix a broken radio, but it will replace a damaged microphone cord – if your radio has an issue beyond the degradation of the insulation on the microphone cord, we do not feel this will solve the problem.

*There are spare conductors/wires in the assembly that is not used.  We left them rather than cut them back just in case they need to be utilized. 

Because they are 3D printed, each one has unique blemishes, characteristics, and flaws.  They are not perfect.  This has no effect on their functionality and is purely cosmetic.
