Datamarine Link Offshore Series-D3500 – Marine Signal Processor -Free Shipping!

This item was removed from a vessel being refit with new electronics.

This is a Datamarine Link Offshore Series Signal Processor.

Used to connect link devices such as depth/wind/multi displays to receive data from transducers and also transmit that data via NMEA 0183 to compatible devices.

We were able to test most features on this device using a depth display in conjunction with a depth spoofer/test set.

All of that data was correctly sent to the displays

Any depth beyond 350ft resulted in the display showing NO DATA.

We did attempt to check the NMEA 0183 in/out using an FD-33 but were unsuccessful in transmitting data to the display via the display’s NMEA 0183 port. We believe the display is incompatible with the processor.

We were also unable to test the wind transducer port as we do not have the appropriate masthead to do so.

This is a used unit and does show some signs of normal wear including some residue, possibly from tape and paint, on the bottom of the unit.
