One of the questions that is often asked – What is the difference between the GT50 and GT51 – The GT50 is considered a superior option for shallow water due to the higher frequency SideVu and ClearVu elements. The traditional element is 300w vs 600w on the GT51, which should not be of huge consequence in a shallow water situation but if your intended use includes a lot of usage beyond 150′ or so, you may be better suited with the GT51-THP.
