These are new old stock lights from Barnegat Light. They are incandescent, which to us, is not necessarily a bad thing.

-A quality incandescent lights does hold up longer in a marine environment much longer than an inexpensive Asian-made LED light.

-LED is directional, whereas incandescent is not, so depending on your mounting situation, your LED may not illuminate as wide a swath as an incandescent bulb.

-Incandescent bulbs are replaceable, most LED fixtures are not, so one diode goes out, and you need to purchase a whole new fixture.

The light measurements are as follows:

-3.5″ overall diameter

-Small hole (approx .125″) will be needed to run wiring behind mounting surface

-1.5″ surface protrusion from outside mounting surface
