Additional Notes: With the lack of availability of OEM GPS antennas for these units, we decided to take what is arguably the best GPS receiver one can get, a Garmin, and create a custom retrofit cable that allows this high performance GPS receiver to be used on this family of units. It also works out that since most Garmin units have gone to NMEA2000, we had some of these antennas around that we could use for this project.

These are plug and play replacements and require no programming or setup, they will work the minute you connect them to your unit.

This listing is for a Garmin GPS17x HVS antenna, 29′ interconnect cable, and 3 different mounts: Pole Mount, Underdeck Mount, and Flush Mount. The unit will not have accurate time and date due to the GPS rollover, but is otherwise fully functional.

Interconnect cable from antenna to the back of your display is 29′ long.

Photos show this antenna being tested on a unit – the display is not included but is used to demonstrate the functionality of this antenna.

This setup will come with a 90 day warranty.
