Additional Notes: This 4kW Enhanced HD Digital Open Array Radar System has been designated as an MME REFURB! Items that receive this designation have not only gone through our rigorous testing procedure but have had common failure points addressed. Because of our vast experience with used marine electronics, we can identify potential failures and we have developed fixes for these failure points to ensure that our customers are getting the best-used unit out there.

Within our extensive MME REFURB process, we have completely disassembled the radar pedestal for professional sandblasting followed by powder coating with marine-grade paint far superior to what originally came on the unit. This unit is immaculate inside and out! It is then meticulously reassembled with clean rubber seals and new bearing grease. This radar’s antenna array has been disassembled to tighten up the internal core and reassembled with sealed end caps. You won’t have to worry about water intrusion or these caps flying off the array when it’s spinning. Our technicians then fully detail the array with a multi-step compound process to remove any unsightly yellowing of the plastics, commonly found with these radars.

**The antenna array is 72″ and has the decal of a Super HD Digital radar, however, the internals are an Enhanced HD Digital. Functionally, there is no difference! We pair the best condition antenna we have available with our Refurbished Radar Systems and want to be as transparent as possible!**

A NEW 10m radar cable is included! Most used cables have a common failure point found where it connects to the radar port and the strain relief deteriorates exposing the wires to moisture which can then cause premature failure of the radar/cable or possibly an electrical short.

This radar system comes with a 72″ (6 ft.) antenna array. If this array is too big, we may have a 4 ft. antenna array available. The included radar cable is 10m in length. If you need a different length radar cable, we may have a 15m or 5m available. Please reach out to us directly to inquire about a smaller antenna array or a different-length radar cable.

All included hardware has been run through a wire wheel and is rust, corrosion, and adhesive-free to allow for quick and easy installation.

To cap off our MME REFURB process, we have installed a NEW Modulator Board directly from Raymarine and updated the software to the latest version! This radar was then put through rigorous testing for several hours to ensure it was in great overall working order! Everything performs optimally and there are strong target returns at all ranges with every self-test successfully passing!

This is the Enhanced version of the HD Digital Radar. With this revision, Raymarine implemented a hardware redesign to overcome start-up difficulties and also added 48RPM and Bird Mode features when connected to a Widescreen or newer model display. These features are not accessible on an E-Series Classic display.
