Additional Notes: This unit is equipped with a built-in AIS receiver which was tested successfully with an NMEA 2000 connection. We were unsuccessful in making the system communicate over NMEA 0183. The MMSI was already set by a previous owner.

This transceiver is intended as a replacement for an existing system, and will not function without a compatible handset. This model can receive AIS data but does not transmit it. This can only receive if set up as a complete VHF System.

It is in excellent cosmetic condition with no signs of wear.
